Terms and conditions of use
These terms cover the website: the writing, the arithmetic and the pages you are reading. They do not cover the sale. An order is a contract with the seller made at the checkout, and the checkout’s own terms are the ones that govern it.
Use the site, quote it with a link, and do not scrape it, break it or republish it wholesale. The writing and the analysis on these pages belong to this site; the label facts they describe belong to nobody.
Everything on the site is published in good faith and checked against the supplied label artwork. Where it is wrong, tell us and we will correct the page and date the correction.
What these terms cover
One website, and the line where its responsibility stops.
This site publishes information about one product: what its label says, what its printed order of ingredients implies arithmetically, and what the published literature on those ingredients reports. It is run by Sodapeakwellness, a U.S. authorized SodaPeak merchant, which means we benefit if you buy and we say so on every page that touches money.
What these terms do not cover is the sale itself. Price, shipping, delivery, the guarantee term and the refund process are all settled at the checkout, under the checkout’s terms.
Acceptable use
The ordinary list, without the usual thousand-word version of it.
You may read these pages, print them, save them, and quote them in a review, a forum post or a piece of your own writing so long as you credit the site and link to the page you took it from. Quoting the arithmetic is encouraged; it is the only reason this site exists.
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers, and do not attempt to interfere with the server that hosts it.
- Do not republish whole pages, or a substantial part of one, as your own content or under your own byline.
- Do not present this site’s analysis as if it came from the manufacturer, from a laboratory, or from a regulator. It did not.
- Do not use the site’s name, wording or figures to imply an endorsement of anything else.
- Do not use anything here to make a claim about treating, curing or preventing a disease. That is the one use this site will not tolerate, because it is the one the label itself forbids.
To reproduce more than a quotation — a table, a chart, a whole section — write to the website inbox and ask. The answer is usually yes, with a credit.
Accuracy, and the standing correction policy
What this site guarantees about its own content, which is less than perfection and more than the usual disclaimer.
Every figure on this site is either transcribed from the supplied label artwork, derived by arithmetic from that artwork, or taken from a source that is listed in the references at the foot of the page. Nothing is written from memory. Where something was not supplied, the page says it was not supplied instead of estimating it.
That is a real standard and it is still not a promise that every sentence is correct. Labels change between print runs, formulations change, sources are updated, and a transcription can be wrong. A bottle in your hand beats a web page every time, including this one.
The correction policy is standing and it has three parts. Any error reported is checked against the supplied artwork and the cited source. If it is an error, the page is changed and the change is dated. If it is not an error, the person who reported it gets an answer explaining why, rather than silence.
What a correction looks like here
Corrections are made on the page that was wrong, not in a separate list that nobody reads. The last-updated date moves, and where the change is material the page says what changed.
That matters more than usual on a site whose whole argument is arithmetic: if a number is wrong, a conclusion is wrong.
The writing on this site
What belongs to this site, what belongs to the brand, and what belongs to nobody.
The text, the tables, the charts, the site’s own drawings and the way the material is arranged were made for this site and are its property. That includes the derivations: the ceiling table, the mutual-exclusion proof and the scorecard are original work, and the value in them is the reasoning rather than the facts they rest on.
The facts themselves are not ours and we claim nothing over them. The ingredient list, the milligram total, the serving size and the printed warnings are what the label says, and a label is not our copyright. Quoting the arithmetic and reaching a different conclusion from it is a legitimate thing to do.
The product name, the brand mark, the crest and the supplied marketing images belong to their owner. They appear here to identify and discuss the product, which is what they are for, and every marketing image on this site is captioned as a supplied render rather than as a photograph of the contents of a capsule.
Links to other sites
The references are the point of the site, and they lead somewhere we do not control.
Every page that makes a claim carries a references list, and those references link to regulations, journals, monographs and agency pages on other people’s websites. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy notices, and none of them is ours.
A source can move, a journal can put a paper behind a paywall, and an agency can reorganize a URL. If a reference on this site no longer resolves, that is worth telling us about — a dead citation is a defect on a site that asks to be checked.
Orders are governed by the checkout
The most important paragraph on this page, and the one most often buried at the bottom of one.
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, and nothing on it forms part of a contract of sale. You cannot buy anything here: there is no cart, no price field and no payment form. The buying links lead to the seller’s checkout.
When you order, the terms that apply are the ones shown at that checkout — the price, the shipping cost, the delivery estimate, the guarantee term, the refund window and the cancellation rules. If anything on this site appears to conflict with the checkout, the checkout wins, and you should read it before you pay.
This is not a legal formality here. No price and no guarantee term were ever supplied to this site, which is why neither appears anywhere on it and why the pricing page says so at length. Write the guarantee term down when you see it at checkout.
Why no price is printed here →The guarantee term, as supplied →The refund route →
Liability, in plain words
What this site is responsible for, said without the capital letters.
This site gives information. It does not give medical advice, legal advice or a recommendation about your health, and it is not a substitute for a conversation with a clinician or a pharmacist. Decisions you make after reading it are yours.
We publish in good faith and we check what we publish, and we cannot promise the site is free of errors or always available. We are not responsible for loss you suffer from relying on a page here, from the site being down, or from anything on a website we have linked to.
None of that is an attempt to exclude something that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the law of your country gives you a right against us, this page does not take it away, and nothing here limits liability for fraud or for a statement made dishonestly.
We have not printed a company registration number, a governing-law clause or the name of a court on this page. None was supplied to this build, and this site does not print what it was not given.
Reporting an error
What to send, and what happens to it.
Name the page and quote the sentence
The page URL and the exact wording. “Somewhere on the ingredients page” takes far longer to chase than a quoted line.
Say what the correct version is, and how you know
A photograph of the bottle you received, a link to the source, or the reasoning. All three are useful; any one is enough to start.
Send it to the editorial address
Write to the website inbox. That address is for pages, typos, privacy and press. Order problems go to the order desk, which is a different desk.
Expect a reply either way
If it is an error, the page changes and the date moves. If it is not, you get the reasoning rather than silence.
Errors of arithmetic are the ones we most want reported: every ceiling here comes from one division.
See the SodaPeak packs
One, three or six bottles. The price is on the seller’s checkout page, because it is the one figure this site was never given — and a figure we were not given is not a figure we will print.
Shipping and the guarantee term are shown at checkout. This site publishes no number it was not able to verify.
