Quick answer

SodaPeak is sold by Sodapeakwellness, the U.S. authorized SodaPeak merchant, and orders are placed and paid for on the seller’s own checkout page. The price, the shipping cost and the guarantee term are shown there, because none of the three was supplied to this website.

This page is about the other half of buying: making sure the listing in front of you is the seller’s, knowing what should be on the bottle when it arrives, and understanding why a traceable source is worth more in this category than in most.

The seller

Who sells it, and where the order is placed

Sodapeakwellness is the U.S. authorized SodaPeak merchant and the publisher of this website. We benefit if you buy, which is a conflict of interest, and it is stated here rather than buried at the bottom of a page.

Orders go through the seller’s checkout page. That page is where the pack price appears, where shipping is added, and where the guarantee term is printed. This site holds none of those three figures and does not process orders, take payment, or see any order that has been placed.

That fourth row is worth a second look. The label names a distributor and stops there, with no city, state or ZIP. 21 CFR 101.5 asks for a place of business as well as a name, and permits only the street address to be dropped where the firm is listed in a current directory. The practical consequence for a buyer is that the bottle alone will not let you trace who distributed it, so the seller’s own contact details are the traceable link, and they are above.

Checks

How to tell a listing is the seller’s own

None of the checks below needs any special knowledge. They are the things a careless copy of a listing usually gets wrong.

  • The domain in the address bar. Read it left to right and look at the word immediately before the first single slash. A familiar brand name appearing anywhere else in the address does not make it the seller’s site.
  • A padlock is not identity. It means the connection is encrypted, which almost every site now is, including the ones you would want to avoid. It says nothing about who is at the other end.
  • Contact details that match. The phone number, email and hours on a genuine listing should match the ones on this page. A listing with no phone number at all is worth a pause.
  • A price shown before you commit. The figure should be on the page, in your currency, with shipping added before the final step and not after it.
  • A stated guarantee term. A listing that promises satisfaction without saying how many days, from what starting point, is not offering you anything you could check.
  • The product details agree with the bottle. Sixty capsules, a two-capsule serving and a 1,200 mg Test Boost Proprietary Blend of eight ingredients. A listing showing six ingredients is repeating the marketing rather than the panel, which is a separate problem described in the two left out.

If two of those checks fail, stop and telephone the order desk before entering a card number. The desk can say whether a listing is one of theirs, and that call costs less than a chargeback.

On delivery

What should be on the bottle when it arrives

Open the parcel with the label in mind. The supplied artwork gives a short list of things that ought to be there, and any of them missing is a reason to call before taking a capsule.

  • An intact safety seal. The label’s own instruction is explicit: do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
  • A full Supplement Facts panel on the back, with a 2-capsule serving size, 30 servings and a 1,200 mg blend line carrying all eight ingredients in printed order.
  • A side panel carrying the directions, the storage line, the caution, the keep-out-of-reach line and a printed expiry date.
  • A lot code and an expiry date that are legible and have not been over-printed or scraped.
  • The FDA disclaimer in full on the back panel.

The lot and expiry supplied with the artwork are SOD-26/SO-1425 and 07-2028. Those are draft label references rather than lab proof, and the bottle you receive may legitimately carry a different lot. Batch and lot explains what those codes do and do not establish.

Compare the panel on your bottle against the transcription on the panel page. If the two disagree, the bottle in your hand is the document that matters, and we would like to hear about it through the website inbox in the footer.

Risk

Counterfeit and diverted stock

Two different problems get described with the same word. A counterfeit is a product made by someone else and dressed as this one. Diverted stock is genuine product sold outside the seller’s own channel, often after sitting somewhere warm for a year.

The second is the more common and the less dramatic. Genuine capsules stored badly are still genuine capsules, and the label asks for a cool, dry place away from heat, light and humidity for a reason. Nothing on a bottle tells you where it has been.

Neither risk is an accusation against any particular reseller, and we have no report of either for this product. The point is narrower: buying through the seller’s own checkout is the one route where the storage, the lot and the return path are all the responsibility of a party you can telephone.

It also matters for the guarantee. A term printed on the seller’s listing is a promise from the seller, and it is not worth anything on a bottle bought somewhere else.

Context

What the FDA has found in this category

This is a statement about the category, not about this product. We have no test result for SodaPeak, because none was supplied, and we are not going to imply one by association.

What is on the record is that the FDA has published warnings about products marketed as testosterone boosters containing hidden drug ingredients that are not declared on the label. One such notice concerns a product sold as a strength test booster found to contain an undeclared drug ingredient.

A consumer monograph makes a similar point about horny goat weed, the first ingredient on this panel, noting that some products sold under that name have been found to contain undeclared prescription drugs. Again: about products bearing the ingredient name, not about this one.

The Federal Trade Commission has also acted in this category, settling charges against marketers of androgen supplements over the claims they made. Advertising claims and product contents are two different problems, and this category has a history with both.

What that argues for

It argues for a traceable source and a document. A traceable source means a seller with a name, an address and a telephone number who can tell you which lot you were sent. A document means a certificate of analysis for that lot from a named laboratory.

A reference number for a certificate was supplied to this site. The certificate itself was not. Batch and lot sets out the difference and testing and quality covers what the seals on the packaging do and do not certify.

Not supplied

What this site cannot tell you about the purchase

Four things a buyer will want are not on this website, and the reason is the same for all four: they were not supplied to it.

That last cell is the entire wording we were given. It contains no number. The guarantee page sets out what a term has to state before anyone can check it.

Contact

Reaching a person

Two routes, and they do different jobs. The order desk can see orders. This editorial desk cannot see any order at all, and saying so is more useful than a shared inbox that quietly cannot help.

Returns go to the returns address rather than the office address. The two are different, and a parcel sent to the wrong one is a parcel that takes longer to be credited. Refunds and returns covers what to put in the box.
